THE PROGRAM, HOW IT WORKS...
Approximate program duration, 6 to 8 weeks

Getting Started

  1. To begin, you must register. You can do this here on the website by clicking on Register Online or, above this tab, click on Download the PDF and print and complete a copy of our Fundraising Registration Form and fax it to Acorn at  1 (905) 947-8968. You will receive confirmation via email of your registration, a detailed program outline, and your registration number.

  2. Acorn will send the materials to run a successful program to your school within 5 days. Included is a sample letter of introduction that can be copied and sent home in advance for parent(s)/guardian(s) to advise them of our program starting.

Artwork is done in-class
      
      3.  Distribute artsheet/order forms to every student in every class.
          Participants create their works of art in-class.
          Extra forms are supplied for staff, siblings,
          additional orders, or mistakes.
          PLEASE NOTE, if parents are
          unsatisfied with the artwork, they
          are encouraged to provide another
          by simply attaching it to the form provided
          and crossing out the original. Art must be
          8 1/2" x 11" and glued to our order form. 
          No tape or paper clips please.

           Recommended time....1 week

Ordering

      4. Completed artsheet/order forms are sent
          home with the participants for review and
          to choose their product(s) of choice. Those
          placing orders record the artist's information
          name, age, and type of artwork on the form.
          This information will appear on the product ordered.
           The artsheet/order forms are returned to the classroom
           teacher with payment affixed to the cover sheet.

      5. Orders are to be recorded and placed in the classroom storage
          envelopes provided. Remove all forms of payment and deposit all
          proceeds into your account. Please remove the cover sheets and
          place only the artsheet/order forms in the classroom storage envelope.

Order Entry

        6. Enter the order information from each order form online through
            our website. IMPORTANT: To choose to have students' previous
            artwork recorded (available with folding cards only), consistent
           student ID numbers must first be entered for each student
          (some conditions apply).

         7. Please review your order entries carefully as it is the responsibility
             of your organization  to ensure the accuracy of your data. Once
             you have submitted your school order, student orders are
             considered final and will proceed directly into production upon
             receipt. Discrepancies will be resolved based on the data entered.

         8. Upon order submission an online invoice will automatically be
             generated. You must agree with invoice details before the school
             order can be processed. A cheque payable to Acorn Custom Cards
             must accompany with the student orders. Phone payment using VISA
             is also acceptable. Payment must be received before school orders are released.

Delivery

        9. Your order is sorted by classroom for easy distribution. Check your
            order when it arrives for accuracy. All original art work will be returned
           with your school order.

           Delivery time...3-6 weeks (from order submission date).              
           Please note, most orders are processed and shipped before 3 weeks. 
           However, in peak periods like the fall semester Acorn may need up to 6 weeks             
           to complete your order. This is custom manufacturing. Patience is appreciated.

IMPORTANT: Late orders and reorders will be facilitated through our Retail
Sales Program. Contact Acorn directly or download a order form "Individual Orders".
There is no applicable fundraising portion for late orders and reorders.

Note: Original artwork is converted to digital file format for processing and
manufacturing. All digital files remain the property of Acorn Custom Cards.
Acorn reserves the right to use such images for self promotion. All originals
are returned with the orders.
